Challenge

Revolution is a prominent luxury watch publication, and its website was working against it. Pages loaded slowly, the content management workflow fought the editorial team, and Core Web Vitals were poor enough to hurt search rankings. For a media business, technical debt is not a back-office problem. It destroys the product.

Solution

We ran a full digital overhaul aimed at three things at once: speed, usability, and the content workflow. The existing codebase and infrastructure were audited, the front-end rebuilt with clean, efficient code, and an intuitive CMS put behind it so publishing stopped being the bottleneck for the editorial team.

The numbers moved the way a media business needs them to: site speed up 50%, Largest Contentful Paint improved 100%, Cumulative Layout Shift improved 3,000%, and the GTMetrix score went from D to A. Google noticed too. Discover impressions grew from 3.81 million to 4 million.

The rebuild, measured: the same pages, roughly half the wait, and a layout that stopped shifting under the reader.
